King Silk Art sole product is Susho, handmade silk embroidery artwork. King Silk Art is an international company, our business headquarters are in Southern California and our production base is in Suzhou, China. We have recently added a new office and warehouse in Australia to accommodate our growing business here.

King Silk Art is a family business, celebrating a legacy dating back over 2200 years, two centuries before Christ was born. The first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, placed eleven families in a small water village called Suzhou to create all his imperial embroidery. One of these families was the Zhang family of King Silk Art.

Susho completely natural creation materials and stitching techniques are traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation. We have kept the same traditions, only adding some new modern designs to our collection.

Susho is visually stunning and exquisitely detailed, completely hand-stitched in pure silk. The wide variety of colors and designs of our wall art, make Susho a perfect complement to any home or office. Available to the general public for less than a century, this form of folk art is enormously popular in China. King Silk Art has built on this acclaim, enjoying tremendous success in Canada, (our initial home in North America) for the last 11 years and throughout the world. Susho has been welcomed by awestricken new collectors wherever it has been introduced; Canada in 2002, the US in 2006, London in 2008 and the Middle East in 2009.

The King Silk Art family has been humbled, not just by our enthusiastic reception, but also by the number of competitive awards, we have won in a variety of different arenas.
In 2011, King Silk Art launched our retail business in Australia. We have already attended many retail shows throughout Australia. We have been thrilled with the response, thousands of new Susho collectors and growing exposure for our unique artwork.

Due to the overwhelming response we have received, we hope expand our reach and share our unique silk artwork with the discerning collectors at Alibaba. King Silk Art mission is to make Susho as popular in the rest of the world, as it is in China. We hope that our relationship with Alibaba will help us achieve that goal.
